Northern Antiques is the family business of Gerald Adams, situated in Harrogate, North Yorkshire; selling fine quality antique silver and ceramics, primarily dealing in 17th, 18th and 19th century stock. 

Northern Antiques is based in Montpellier Mews Antique Market, which is nestled in the heart of the historical spa town of Harrogate.  With its quaint tearooms, parks and gardens, fine quality restaurants, fashion houses and antique shops, Montpellier Mews is the place to visit and is easily accessible by car or train.

Northern Antiques originated from Gerald’s own collection of fine quality antique silver and ceramics; built up over a period of 30 years.

Moving from collector to dealer, Gerald began trading at Dateline Antique fairs around the country and also through an online web presence. 

Having been a collector and trader, Gerald recognises the importance and difficulties of sourcing fine quality items to add to a collection. Upon request, Northern Antiques will endeavour to source any item/s for customers who wish to add a particular piece to their collection, whether it be antique silver, antique pottery or antique porcelain.
