| A Cypriot white painted ware Oinochoe, Cypro-Archaic, 750-475 BC An Oinochoe with prophylactic bird's eye motifs on either side of the trefoil lip, (these eyes were thought to defend or protect from disease or infection,) and a small swastika on the shoulder, the handle with horizontal bands. Swastikas were considered to be good luck symbols, representing sun, fire, or continuing creation, 13 cms Condition - Good condition with minor wear; small chip to back of neck, intact. A Cypriot white painted ware jug, Cypro-Archaic, 750-475 BC Decorated with an umber band of zig-zag around the neck, beneath the ground-down lip, the globular body with 'free-field' decoration of a stylised 'fir-tree' down the front and four tiny swastikas around the shouder, the strap handle with horizontal bands and a cross, with a large umber painted hook below. Swastikas were considered to be good luck symbols, representing sun, fire, or continuing creation, 18 cms Condition - Good condition, minor wear, small chip below neck, intact. Romano-British baby feeder 1st-3rd Century AD A rare example of a Romano-British baby feeder. round circular base with a sloping body leading to spout; loop applied handle and a raised wide open neck, small feeding hole from the main body through the centre of the spout widening to the spout end, it would suggest by it's form the wide neck, handle and spout with small hole that it was used for liquids rather then solids ( possibly milk ) and for a baby rather than an infant allowing only a small amount of fluid to pass through, Condition - Intact, some losses to spout and rim, some lime and soil deposits. Egyptian Steatite Scarab - Middle 18th dynasty Circa 1473-1352 A carved Steatite Scarab of typical Middle 18th dynasty form, with head and back well shaped and clypeus and head clearly cut.
