A Rare Early Bow Saucer, Circa 1750-52

A rare and early Bow saucer of quatrelobed shape, enamelled in Meissen style with formal floral sprays in puce, blue, green and yellow, the rim picked out in brown, this saucer is of great importance and was made in the first years of production, Bow factory Circa 1748-74 the production output was high producing a large variety of wares from decorative items such as figures, to utilitarian tableware mainly painted in underglazed blue decoration, the porcelain was thickly potted with a greyish appearance and is distinct from other factories, 12.8cms.

Condition - excellent conditon, minor wear, slight shape fault on firing. No restoration or repair
